A Study in Practicality with Sonia Kashuk's Instructional Eye Palette in Eye on Neutral

There are some things in life that we all just, well, need.  They're not exactly exciting or awe-inspiring, but life moves a lot easier with them.  Sonia Kashuk's Instructional Eye Palette in Eye on Neutral is one of those things.  It's an all-matte palette with nothing but neutral colors.  Every color you truly need is included here.  Maybe they aren't "OOOOHHH and AAAAHHH" types of shades, but you'd be hard pressed to go your entire beauty-obsessed life without them.  Check it out!

There are 12 shades provided here.  Everything from whites to creams, to browns to grays and blacks.
Also, there is a small pull-out drawer containing three flip cards for different looks you can do with the palette.

The color range here is excellent.  Aside from all the different kinds of neutrals you can think of, you also have a good assortment of warm tones and cool tones.

The actual quality of the shadows is okay.  The pigmentation level with all of them is kind of in the middle.  The lighter shades also have a bit of chalkiness to them, but nothing too bad.

I hardly ever use just these shades for whole look, rather a couple at a time.  Maybe one as a highlight, another as a transition/blending color, or one to deepen up my crease.  I also use a couple of the brown shades as brow powders.

Bottom Line:  Amber Likes!

This is an extremely useful product when it comes to makeup.  I can't think of any person who does their makeup who wouldn't benefit from this owning this palette.  Whether your style is simple and natural or wild trendsetter, you'll get plenty of use out of this palette.

You can find more information about this product on the Target website.  It retails for $20.
