FOTD: Daytime Mermaid

I was in an "under the sea" type of mood today so that was the inspiration for this look.  I also wanted to test out a few of the new products that I got for Christmas.  The key to this look was fresh & dewy skin and a kind of seaweed effect on the lids for which golden teal and olive colors are a must.  List of products used and more pictures after the jump!

Eyes:

  • E.L.F. Studio Cream Shadow in Teal Party as base all over lid
  • Wet n Wild Comfort Zone (Light Olive Green Shadow) lightly swept all over lid and blended into crease
  • Urban Decay Aquarius patted in center of lid and along bottom lashline
  • Physicians Formula Gel Liner in Green Eyes (Green) slightly winged out along top lashline
  • Stila Eye Kajal in Emerald on waterline
  • Rimmel Lycra Lash Extender Mascara - 2 coats
  • Maybelline One by One Mascara - 2 coats
  • Maybelline Define-A-Brow
  • E.L.F. Studio Brow Kit (powder side only)
Face:
  • Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in 340 Nude (reviewed here)
  • Laura Gellar Real Deal Concealer in Medium as concealer/highlight undereyes, bridge of nose, middle of lower forehead, chin, and cupid's bow
  • NYC Bronzer in Sunny as contour cheeks, temples, sides of forehead, hairline, sides of nose
  • NYC Blushable Creme Stick in Plaza Pink on lower apples of cheek and blended back
  • Laura Gellar Balance-n-Brighten in Tan blended over foundation, concealer, bronzer, & blush
Lips:
  • Revlon Colorburst Lip Stick in Pink Sugar
  • NYC Liquid Lip Shine in Prospect Pink
Note:  I thought with the "seaweed" look I was going for that clumpy lashes might be fitting as well, which is why I used 2 layers of each mascara.  I don't normally like the clumpy look, so if you're like me, only clump them a bit.
